O ATENDIMENTO DO ENFERMEIRO ÀS GESTANTES ASSISTIDAS NO PRÉ-NATAL EM UMA UNIDADE DE SAÚDE DE APICUM-AÇU-MA

Abstract

The nurse is a professional regulated to perform basic activities regarding assistance to pregnant women during prenatal care. Among the duties of the professional to be the provision of assistance to mothers and children, inform it about childbirth, postpartum and child care, promoting a healthy and satisfying environment for physical and emotional adaptation of women and thus promote the condition pregnant the mother's condition. And before the study of pregnant women in a Health Unit of the municipality of Apicum-Acu / MA, it was found that nurses' role is essential, which is the goal of the study. Therefore, 20 patients were interviewed using a questionnaire of closed questions. The age range was 45% 15-25 years and 30% from 26 to 35, a fact that can be considered important due to the number of pregnant adolescents. As the level of education, 40% had completed high school, where 40% were married, 45% sought treatment at the beginning of prenatal, 35% know the expected date of confinement. With regard to when you started prenatal consultation, 45% did in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy, because only 40% of pregnant women were aware of the last menstrual period. After the first contact with the nurse, 50% of women had 4-6 consultations of prenatal care, where 80% had follow-up of nurses and 55% found good the quality of consultation, and made the necessary guidelines for a good pregnancy and good childbirth.
