Abstract:
In the globalized society, with an increasing advance of the technologies of information
and communication reaching the way of life of the population, implied in new postures of
behavior. It is in this context that the need for the proposed theme is established, since it
is something that must be discussed in the teaching - learning process. The present study
intends to analyze how the use of technologies in professional technical education in the
Technical School CEMP-MA, in order to understand how technological resources serve
as auxiliary tools in the teaching and learning process. It is also worth noting that the
methodology applied in this research was based on the use of bibliographies and
quantitative research through questionnaires applied in said Technical School through
which the students' opinions about the activities related to the subject matter were
evaluated. The exploratory study had the students of the Technical Course in
Administration of the Technical School CEMP, headquarters, located in the Center
District, City of São Luis, in March 2019, with a random sample of 25% of the students of
the Course Technician in Administration, which totals the average of 36 students. The
purpose of this research is to analyze the advantages and challenges posed to the
insertion of information technologies in the classroom.
